Chill out and practice some self -care at Kitsilano Beach

Beach finders. Hit “Kits,” the big popular Kitsilano Beach. Or you can discover unusual public pathways to the shoreline, known as the Kitsilano Natural Foreshore. If you start at Banyen Books, follow Dunbar south, the road comes to a dead end and you'll see a bench or two. This alone is a nice place to sit and read, but if you hang a left you'll see a little pathway and then stairs to the right that lead down to the ocean. It's about a 6 or 7 minute walk. Depending on the tide, it's a nice place to hang out. Important to know for sitting purposes: The rocks are often wet along Kitsilano Beach (that tide! those rainy winters!), so bring something dry to sit on.
