Migration Brewing
Kick off your ride by sailing up Williams Avenue (a true bike highway, we even removed a car lane to make way for more bikes!) and stop at Migration Brewing, a brewery known for its dependable IPAs, experimental brews, and spacious patio. It’s easy to miss their subtle sign so look for the colorful MF Tasty food carts (yum!) just outside the entrance.
Prost! + Cart Pod
Next we’ll head over to the Mississippi District, just a few blocks from Williams. This beloved street is chock full of shops, eateries, coffee shops, and bars—truly something for everyone. Nestled on the corner of Mississippi and Skidmore is Prost!, a Portland beer institution. This cozy and inviting pub serves German beers (in the appropriate glassware) and fare. They share the corner with an excellent food cart pod that has tacos, sushi, Indian food, and more—including the now-famous Matt’s BBQ.
Brigetown Beer
It could be easy to miss Bridgetown if you don’t know where to look. This neighborhood spot is tucked away a half-block off of Mississippi. They have a rotating tap list, a wide selection of cans and bottles, and you can bring your own food from one of the many restaurants nearby. It’s quiet and laid back, perfect for a quick pint and reprieve from the bustling street.
Stormbreaker Brewing
Known for its spacious and comfortable patio, Stormbreaker is a local favorite. They have a solid line-up of flagship beers and interesting seasonals, and serve wine and cocktails too. If you end up here in the evening, cozy up to one of the fire pits, or catch part of the Portland Trail Blazers game on the outdoor projector.
Ale Fire
The final stop on our tour takes us back to Williams, to the quirky and beloved Ale Fire. Part tap room, part hot sauce emporium, this spot is an unexpected gem. Kick back with a pint or two from their expansive selection (20+ taps!), and grab a few bottles to gift to the hot sauce lovers in your life.
