Longmire National Park Inn

While exploring the national park, don't forget to stop by the Longmire National Park Inn, an old-school-style hotel that offers a relaxing, rustic, and laid-back stay. The Inn was founded in 1921 by members of the National Park Service (NPS). With an easy flow, the hotel is like a second home to those who stay. One of the best things about the hotel is that the rooms are not huge but feel cozy.

The Paradise Inn

Located at the gateway to Mount Rainier National Park, the Paradise Inn includes a restaurant and a small cafe. Like the National Park Inn, both the restaurant and the cafeteria are open only from May to early October. The restaurant offers breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and you can enjoy Sunday brunch as well.

The Paradise Camp Deli

The Paradise Camp Deli, a cafeteria located in the Jackson Visitor Center, is usually open on weekends and holidays in winter daily from May through early October. You would love to go to Paradise Camp Deli to get their most popular sandwich: bacon, cheese, and onion on their high-quality brioche. Every Friday evening at the camp, there is live music, a nice change from the typical background noise encountered in other cities.

The Sunrise Day Lodge

The Sunrise Day Lodge includes a snack bar. The snack bar is usually open from July through September. The Sunrise Day Lodge is a beautiful private getaway tucked away at the foot of Mount Rainier. The building is adorable and comfortable and has a great bar and grill. It is a perfect way to ease into the park, as you are close to all of the main sights and have access to two miles of Lake Keechelus for fishing. The lodge also has indoor and outdoor fireplaces for those chilly early mornings.

The Whittaker's Cafe and Espresso

The Whittaker's Cafe and Espresso is a cozy spot offering tasty waffles, ice cream, bagels, snacks, sweets, and wireless internet in the heart of Ashford, right next to Mount Rainier.
