Formerly known as the industrial area of Seattle, Georgetown has gone from industrial to artsy and chic. What used to be warehouses are now art galleries, breweries, and trendy restaurants. Coffee shops and vibrant graffiti murals coexist with old railroad tracks making the area perfect for quirky and fun hangout spots. The industrial-hip vibe neighborhood hosts the Georgetown Carnival every year, featuring live music, shows, beer, acrobats, and art that attract many in and outside Seattle.
