East Oakland Sports Center houses free weights, personal training services, cardio equipment and much more! This 3,600 fitness center also offers martial arts classes, as well as instructed gymnastics courses. The East Oakland Sports Center has a 9,000 square foot indoor pool park featuring a lazy river, activity pools, white water slide, as well as a two lane lap area, so it’s perfect for the whole family.

Anytime of any day, the Lake Merritt neighborhood is one of the most lively places in Oakland.  Whether you’re by Lakeshore or Downtown, you’re guaranteed to find something that matches your vibe. Come sunbathe around one of the country’s largest saltwater lakes--home to wildlife, garden and a children’s park. But it’s the people watching (and dining around Lake Merritt) that takes this experience to the next level.
