Outdoor cycling fun in Vancouver

Combine your love of outdoor recreation with your love of great art. Fill up your water bottle and pedal through art in public spaces with BIKEnnale: Metro Vancouver’s super fun, self-guided biking tours for people of all ages and abilities. 

In the last 10 years, Vancouver has seen its public art grow at an unprecedented clip, thanks to the city's public art programs like the Vancouver Biennale and community contributions. So when you’re looking for inspiring cultural exchange and unexpected sources of connection, don't miss any of the 40 BIKEnnale tours. You’ll learn about Metro Vancouver’s hidden art, sculptures, architectural treasures and points of cultural and historical significance. And you can watch local artists making their creations live and showcasing their artwork.

The details and registration links:

  • One-time $5 donation for individuals or $15 for families. All funds raised go towards Vancouver Biennale public art installations, exhibitions, artist residencies, and educational programs.   
  • Register once and get new tours sent to you every week from May 22 until October 11, 2021. Take as many tours as you like, whenever you like, as often as you like.
  • All tours are easily accessible by smartphone with a new and greatly improved user-friendly app. All tours are also downloadable for those who prefer a paper map.

Tips: 

Don’t own a bike? Use Mobi´s Bikes by Shaw Go, an urban bike share service that makes public bicycles available for shared use to individuals on a short-term basis (30 min). The bikes can be unlocked from one station and returned to any station in the system, and the prices start at $12 (+ taxes) per day! Become a member now at: https://www.mobibikes.ca
